Become an Outreach Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society in Abbotsford, BC. Provide essential support to adults facing housing, addiction, and mental health challenges in a dynamic, flexible role. As an Outreach Worker, you will report directly to the Designated Manager at Lookout, supporting clients who require assistance with achieving stable living conditions.
This position involves providing advocacy, direction, and crisis intervention. With a focus on fostering independence, you'll develop individualized action plans to meet clients' basic needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skills training for secure living situations
- Network clientele with essential services
- Develop flexible action plans for client challenges
- Administer finances and medications as needed
- Maintain records and statistical data for reporting Requirements:
- Related Diploma or Certificate; or 2 years relevant experience
- Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
- Class 5 Driver’s License with clear abstract
- Familiarity with community resources and crisis intervention
- Minimum two years sobriety if applicable Support adults in need while fostering independence through Lookout’s mission-driven services.
