You are an experienced engineer with experience in a fast-paced, complex manufacturing operation.

Identifying and implementing improvements in packaging equipment throughput, quality, safety and efficiency Use strong continuous improvement skills to enhance system reliability and identify/implement productivity and cost improvements including new technologies.
Show thorough understanding of the interactions between machine, materials, methods, workplace, and people to provide robust operating systems. Provide key technical support in capital projects and new product and packaging material testing/start-ups. Ensure safety and quality aspects of the equipment meets company requirements Minimize packaging material scrap, product scrap and product giveaway.
Work Experiences 3+ years of experience in packaging engineering, packaging development, quality engineering, or manufacturing. A demonstrated ability to select and apply sound engineering practices and principles to the design and development of high volume consumer products packaging.
Strong background and proven results in Leading Continuous Improvement efforts through the application of Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma Activities.
Experience in Packaging Controls S. degree (or higher) in Engineering, Packaging Science or related field from an accredited college/university.
