Tmattos Services is a licensed multi trade contractor serving the GTA in painting, spray foam insulation, drywall, flooring, carpentry, and post construction cleaning. We're looking for an experienced painter who understands the specific demands of older homes, from surface prep on original plaster and trim to matching historic finishes.

What you'll do

Prep and paint interior and exterior surfaces on older and heritage style homes, including plaster, old wood trim, and masonry

Handle proper surface prep for aged materials: scraping, sanding, priming, caulking, and moisture or lead secure practices where relevant

Match colours and finishes to existing historic details

Work with Sherwin Williams products and follow manufacturer specs

Coordinate directly with the crew lead and communicate job progress clearly

Keep job sites clean, protected, and safe throughout the project

What you bring

Proven experience painting older or heritage homes (not just new builds)

Strong surface prep skills,



especially plaster, old wood, and masonry

Comfort with exterior work at height (ladders, scaffolding)

Reliable transportation

Own basic hand tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a small crew

WSIB coverage or willingness to obtain it (subcontractor arrangements considered)

Nice to have

Experience with lime plaster, wood restoration, or heritage designated properties

Comfort quoting or scoping small touch up jobs on site

Location: GTA, based out of North York

Type: Full time or subcontractor, depending on fit
