Join MCC as a part-time Abuse Response and Prevention Assistant in Saskatchewan, contributing to impactful community programs. You will support peer networks and enhance educational outreach initiatives. This role involves working closely with the Peacebuilding Coordinator to deliver essential elements of MCCS's Peacebuilding program.
Responsibilities include facilitating peer-support groups and engaging local communities. A commitment to MCC's mission and values is crucial for success in this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate in-person peer-support group sessions
- Collaborate with Sagesse for online peer-support facilitation
- Support educational workshops for churches and communities
- Maintain accurate participant records and data
- Engage in local events to promote program initiatives Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- At least 3 years in abuse prevention or facilitation
- Robust facilitation and communication skills
- Understanding of intersectionality and cultural sensitivity
