About the role

ThermoMart has supplied temperature-control products since 2006. We provide temperature controllers, sensors, timers, and assembled control boxes.

We are hiring one part-time Electronics Assembly Technician for practical, hands-on work in Thornhill. The work is repeatable and paid training is provided for our products and procedures.

What the role offers

- CAD $18–$25 per hour, with the starting rate based on demonstrated capability.
- Paid hands-on training.
- Approximately 15 hours per week.
- A adaptable three-weekday schedule, preferably around 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
- No weekend work.
- Practical experience with electronics assembly, wiring, tools, and product testing.
- Opportunity for increased responsibility and pay after demonstrating consistent capability.

Responsibilities
- Assemble plastic and metal control-box enclosures.
- Install DIN rail, cable glands, switches, controllers, circuit breakers, labels, and related components.
- Use screwdrivers, drills, taps, wire strippers, crimpers, and other basic hand tools.
- Measure, cut, strip, crimp, label, route, and connect wire.
- Complete control-box wiring.
- Perform occasional basic soldering after training.
- Disassemble, clean, and prepare components or enclosures when required.
- Assist with inspection, functional testing, packaging,



and basic production records.

Work is performed on low-voltage or de-energized assemblies. The position does not involve live high-current work.

What we are looking for

- Careful, consistent hands-on work.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Comfort using basic hand tools.
- Some experience with basic wiring, electronics, small-product assembly, or similar hands-on work is preferred.
- Previous use of wire strippers, crimpers, soldering tools, or a multimeter is helpful but not mandatory.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

This position may suit an electronics or electromechanical technician or technician student, an experienced assembler, or a capable hobbyist with practical wiring and tool experience.
