Join the Region of Waterloo as a Part time Registered Practical Nurse specializing in Infectious Diseases. Deliver critical clinical services and immunization programs in diverse settings throughout the community. This role entails providing essential registered practical nursing services under Public Health standards, including client assessments and vaccine administration.
You will be integral to the Infectious Diseases Division, working collaboratively in various environments such as schools and public health clinics. Flexibility is required for weekly shift adjustments as well as participating in mass immunization campaigns as needed. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical services and assessments for public health programs
- Administer immunizations and maintain accurate records
- Participate in mass immunization and emergency response initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for effective service delivery
- Ensure confidentiality and manage client information efficiently Requirements:
- Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- 2-year Registered Practical Nurse Diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification and proof of immunity for Hepatitis B
- Knowledge of infectious disease management and clinical protocols
