Village Wellness Spa is a luxury medical spa in Mississauga, established in 1989, offering advanced aesthetic treatments (neurotoxins, fillers, microneedling, RF, laser, IPL) and premium skincare lines including SkinCeuticals, YonKa, Babor, iS Clinical, Vivier, Swissline, and Florivera. We're looking for a Social Media Manager to help us grow our online presence with content that reflects our premium positioning — polished, educational, and genuinely helpful to our clients.

About the Role

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of our day-to-day social media presence — from content planning and creation to community engagement and light reporting. You'll work closely with our Director of Marketing and have access to our existing brand assets, content calendar, and treatment/product library to build from.

Responsibilities

- Plan, create, and schedule content across Instagram and TikTok (and other platforms as needed), aligned with our existing content calendar and brand pillars
- Shoot and edit photo/video content in-spa (treatments, product features, behind-the-scenes, staff spotlights)
- Write on-brand captions and copy that feel personal and educational, never salesy
- Develop educational content series (ingredient spotlights, AM/PM routines, treatment breakdowns) with appropriate consultation disclaimers
- Monitor and respond to comments/DMs in a timely, brand-appropriate way
- Track basic performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth)



and report monthly
- Coordinate with the Director of Marketing on monthly themes, brand partnerships, and campaign timing
- Support occasional paid social ad content (Meta ads) as needed

Qualifications

- 1–2+ years of social media management experience (agency, in-house, or freelance), with hands-on experience running both Instagram and TikTok
- Strong photo/video content creation skills — comfortable shooting and editing short-form video for Reels and TikTok
- Excellent writing skills with an eye for brand voice and tone
- Experience with Instagram, TikTok, scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Meta Business Suite), and basic analytics
- Interest in or experience with beauty, wellness, skincare, or medical aesthetics is a robust asset
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing a content calendar independently
- Available for occasional in-spa shoot days (flexible scheduling)

Nice to Have

- Experience with Canva or similar design tools
- Familiarity with running or supporting paid social campaigns
- Basic photography/lighting knowledge for beauty/product content
