Part-time Temporary Teacher - 0.5 FTE

(Teaching Intervention Groups in Literacy and Numeracy)

This teaching position will support students in small groups with literacy and numeracy intervention. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with homeroom teachers to assess student needs and co-develop effective, tailored programming.

Please note that this prospect is open to both internal and external candidates.

Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools serves over 9600 students in 21 schools in Red Deer, Blackfalds, Sylvan Lake, Rocky Mountain House, Innisfail, and Olds. It also supports the learning of over 950 students in a Home Education Program.

Individuals exhibiting the following education, characteristics or interests are encouraged to apply:

- Bachelor of Education
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certification
- Knowledge of Alberta School Curriculum
- Focus on high quality, student-centered learning
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
- Be comfortable working in a Faith filled environment
