You'll love it here! We are hiring immediately for a Parts Reclamation Associate! As a Parts Reclamation Associate, you will be part of a collaborative team that provides replacement parts and repair solutions for customer and store stock units.

You'll develop expertise in consumer electronics, components, and inventory management while helping deliver the quickest, most cost effective, and highest quality repair solutions. Your work will directly support our service operations and help create amazing customer experiences.

Availability Requirements Monday to Friday: 9:00am -5:30pm/10:30 am – 6:30pm Flexibility to work Saturdays, 7:00am – 3:30pm as required Schedule may vary based on business needs.

What you'll do as a Parts Reclamation Associate

- Test and dismantle various consumer electronic products to harvest components used in customer and store stock repairs.
- Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new products and accurately identify components for inventory.
- Manage harvested parts inventory within the SMART PARTS system to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Refurbish components such as hard drives by testing, wiping, cleaning, and preparing them for reuse.
- Support the management of refurbishment processes for key components including hard drives and motherboards.
- Perform quality control testing on new and refurbished parts sourced from vendors and other channels.
- Report, troubleshoot, and help resolve issues related to parts ordering and inventory management systems.
- Assist with inventory forecasting, usage analysis, and reporting to support business optimization initiatives.
- Accurately enter and maintain data within inventory and repair systems.
- Perform light material handling duties, including lifting and moving products and parts up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while meeting quality and productivity expectations.

What we're looking for





- 1+ year of experience in board-level repair or electronics repair (laptops preferred)
- Minimum 6 months experience in a service center or similar environment
- Strong soldering and micro-soldering skills
- Experience diagnosing and repairing motherboard-level issues independently
- Familiarity with schematics, boardview software, and diagnostic tools
- Experience in inventory management and parts identification
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

- Consumer Electronics Diploma or related education
- A+ Certification or Electronics Repair certification
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, SQL)
- Experience with SMART PARTS inventory system
- Experience with major laptop brands (Apple, HP, Dell, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, Microsoft Surface)
- Experience with liquid damage repair and power rail/USB-C diagnostics
- Vendor interaction and data analysis experience

Base pay range

Hourly pay rate: $18.00 - $18.68





This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above. Pay may vary by province. Pay listed is for the location advertised.
