Accounting Responsibilities

Work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure all accounting and financial reports are prepared as accurately as possible and within established deadlines Prepare reconciliations and operational analyses Prepare and verify billing and follow up on accounts receivable Record customer payments and deposits and respond to customer inquiries Participate in the month-end closing process Payroll Responsibilities Support the Payroll Manager Process employee hires and terminations in the system Issue Records of Employment (ROEs) Respond to payroll-related inquiries Maintain employee balances and accrual banks (vacation, sick leave, banked time) Perform any other related duties Review and verify employee timesheets Required Qualifications Bilingual candidate (French and English), spoken and written, required due to regular interactions with an international clientele College diploma or university studies in Accounting (Bachelor's degree in Accounting considered an asset) Strong computer skills; knowledge of Windows environment, Galaxy Lightspeed (PMS), Positouch, or equivalent systems is an asset Flexible individual with the ability to work accurately under pressure Strong teamwork skills and excellent interpersonal abilities We thank all applicants for their interest in Groupe Hôtelier Grand Château .
