This opportunity as Qualicum Pharmasave brings you to a pharmacy that provides services such as specialty compounding, travel health consultations, and diabetes education. We operate a large home health care department and run a highly successful ideal protein clinic.
The dispensary is a brand new beautiful spacious area that includes a scriptpro machine, anti-fatigue flooring, good lighting, large counselling room, and a recent compounding room. Patient intake is with the pharmacist so counselling and therapeutic assessment are be done at the beginning of filling – you can find problems before you start!
As pharmacy faces more and more pressure, you will join a team of four exceptional pharmacists who are friendly, collaborative and clinically minded. We are also well staffed with assistants who are positive, hardworking, and professional - allowing you to focus on patient care. With more and more pressure on community pharmacy you will be with a supportive team.
The successful applicant must have the following qualifications:
- BC pharmacist license
- Must have excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask and work in a fast paced setting
- Must be able to supervise and have good decision making skills
- Have certifications for methadone and injections
- Be comfortable doing medications reviews and adaptions.
- Have a positive, happy, team based attitude.

Our store is open until 6 pm at the latest - so no night shifts (and the weekend rotation is currently 1 Saturday every 4 weeks – this could be subject to change)
