Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic and detail-oriented pipeline professionals to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing pipeline projects that ensure efficient and secure transportation of resources. Responsibilities
- Develop detailed pipeline schematics and system designs using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation.
- Utilize GIS tools like ArcGIS and GIS software to analyze geographic data for project planning and site assessment.
- Prepare construction estimates by performing accurate construction estimating calculations, ensuring project budgets are maintained.
- Conduct construction inspection activities to verify adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with project management teams to coordinate design development, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Create comprehensive documentation including schematics, system layouts, and technical reports using Bluebeam, Mathcad, and other drafting tools.
- Support environmental and civil engineering aspects by applying HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Centers) methodologies for water flow modeling and analysis.
Experience
- Proven experience in civil or mechanical engineering related to pipeline or infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency with CAD drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Schematics software.
- Familiarity with GIS platforms like ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping tasks.
- Hands-on experience with construction estimating, project management principles, and construction inspection processes.
- Knowledge of system design principles for pipelines, including mechanical engineering concepts and civil engineering standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction documents accurately.
- Prior work experience involving construction experience in pipeline or utility projects is highly desirable.
