This role combines technical expertise with exceptional customer service to ensure accurate processing of development applications. Cochrane seeks a meticulous and service-oriented Development Technician to support our Planning section. The ideal candidate will be organized, enjoy customer interactions, and ensure application accuracy.

Education in land use, civil, or building planning is essential, with preference for those having 3–5 years of municipal planning experience. Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the first contact for public inquiries regarding planning matters
- Review legal surveys for compliance certificates
- Provide information on Planning requirements
- Document and review subdivision and development applications
- Conduct Land Titles research for applications Requirements:
- Background in land use, civil, or building planning
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
