The AMD NBIO Team is on the lookout for a dynamic, upbeat Validation Design Manager to join our growing team. As a key contributor to the success of AMD’s IP, you will be leading a team to drive and improve AMD’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry leading technologies to market.

You will work directly with Senior Staff, Directors, Program Managers and other Managers to ensure high-quality, on-time IP silicon validation and production release. The NBIO Team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development. You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and validation, and you bring that passion to building and leading high-performing engineering teams.

Lead a team of engineering staff, manage assignment, monitor workload, and drive post-Si activities. Deploy post-silicon debug infrastructure (software, hardware, automation setting, and lab setup) Lead collaborative technical discussions to drive resolution on technical issues and roll out technical initiatives.



Determine and align schedules with peer groups and internal customers Implement change control and issue management processes Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned Management or technical leadership experience Knowledge of computer hardware architecture (CPU/APU, x86, PCIe, memory, bus logic) and software architecture (driver, bios, firmware usage) Test plan and test development experience Participated in silicon bring up and debug, support to internal engineering teams.

Able to execute and drive success of programs with multiple projects on the go. Office365, issue ticket systems, web-based collaborative tools Academic Credentials ~ Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
