At CACEIS (Canada) Asset Servicing Limited, you will join our Private Equity and Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department in charge of offering a complete range of services to Private Equity, Real Estate and Securitization funds, adapted to each investment strategy.

In this role, you will be responsible for the production of an accurate net asset value for the entire investment fund range. You will maintain strong working knowledge of the various accounting policies for different fund types, while enhancing productivity by implementing operation efficiencies, and building effective relationships with other departments

Job Duties

Reporting to the Team Manager- PERES, the Controller will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth operations of the NAV creations and validations.

Some of the responsibilities will include

- Accurate and timely execution of complex processes supporting the fund accounting, NAV production and GP accounting functions across a range of PERES Operations Fund Administration structures, including validation of manual entries, collation of accounting working papers,



and presentation metrics and control data.
- Overseeing the team’s calculation and accuracy of the NAV
- Supporting the Team manager with NAV validations
- Monitoring NAV Production Process
- Quality Control and Approval
- Risk Management and Compliance
- Processing Optimization and Efficiency
- Providing technical support to the team as needed and intervening in cases requiring business expertise.
- Participating in process optimization and security.
- Documenting and improve processes related to fund accounting
- Be the Subject Matter expert of the process and have complete knowledge and understanding of NAV calculation processing & review for a variety of funds
- Participating in Daily Team huddles, Weekly Team meetings.

Required Skills and Experience

- 3-5 years Fund Accounting experience, preferably in unlisted Funds
- Investment accounting experience - working knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
- Strong computer skills, and specifically for Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to process and apply new skills and concepts quickly
- Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Proven experience in funds accounting/pricing/client reporting within financial markets.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of fund products, fund accounting and systems and regulations.
- Fund accounting system knowledge desirable: Yardi
