Reporting to the process supervisor, your role will focus on ensuring the safe, effective and efficient operation of the Cigar Lakes process areas. This entry-level role will provide you with the opportunity to learn and grow with Cigar Lakes process team and is well suited for a motivated individual who wants to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the site.
Responsibilities
- Operate circuits as per outlined procedures and guidelines.
- Identify, document, and report any maintenance concerns.
- Assist senior operators as required.
Requirements
- grade 12 or equivalent;
- three to five years of mill or process operation work experience, preferably in the uranium industry;
- industrial water treatment experience;
- equivalent combination of education and experience considered;
- valid Class 5 drivers license;
- ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- comfortable working on both surface and underground; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended
- previous experience in an industrial workplace or uranium mill;
- potable water treatment level 1 and level 2 certification;
- wastewater treatment level 1 certification.
