Five Corners Meat Co. is part of Donald's Fine Foods, a family owned specialty meat processing group operating six facilities across Western Canada. We're looking for a Production Manager to lead day to day operations at our Edmonton facility. About the role

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll own execution of production planning, line efficiency, yield management, labour deployment, and workforce development for a unionized plant team. You'll ensure production meets customer service, quality, food safety, and cost targets while keeping the floor safe and compliant. What you'll do

Production Planning Plan weekly manpower to meet demand and schedules Drive line speed efficiency and throughput across all lines Manage product yields without compromising quality Oversee line development and new product commercialization support Safety Maintain a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and visitors Ensure full compliance with Alberta OHS regulations Lead the team toward zero lost time incidents Own incident investigations and corrective action follow through Food Safety and Quality Enforce HACCP programs, Preventive Control Plans,



and CFIA/SFCR requirements Maintain BRC standards and audit ready operations Uphold product specs across all SKUs and respond to non conformances immediately Labour Management and Cost Control Manage labour cost to budget and minimize overtime Support P&L; analysis with production data, yield results, and cost per kg Drive process improvements and 5S standards Leadership Coach and develop Production Supervisors and Lead Hands Administer discipline and performance management within the Collective Bargaining Agreement Build positive employee relations and a strong floor culture What you bring Post secondary education in Food Science, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent hands on experience Minimum 5 years in food or meat processing Demonstrated experience leading a unionized production team, including CBA administration, progressive discipline, and grievance handling Working knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and provincial OHS regulations Strong Microsoft Office skills; scheduling or planning software an asset Transparent, direct communicator who builds accountability without micromanaging Competitive salary of $80,000 to $100,000 based on experience Full time salaried role with a well established, growing company Opportunity to lead a plant floor team and make a real operational impact Apply now to join our leadership team.
