What you’ll do
- Production Operator plays a vital role in contributing to the production of high-quality livestock feed through the operations of bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping activities at Rosenort, MB. This position supports uninterrupted production operations by proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Operate production machinery and identify areas to optimize production performance
- Ensure quality and food safety standards are met
- Meet or exceed production targets, record data on production orders and activities
- Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment
- Promote awareness of any unsafe situation and take appropriate action
Who we’re looking for
- 2 – 3 years of manufacturing experience is an asset
- Ability to work in 6 am -2 pm or 2 pm – 10 pm
You’ll also need
- Ability to lift 25 kgs regularly
- Ability to focus on details within a quick-paced environment
- Exposure to the elements, noise and dust, and working at heights
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
