Objective:

To ensure optimal performance of OFIFC programs through Friendship Centre supports, program planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

- Responsible for program reporting and analysis to understand and address the needs, gaps, challenges, and priorities of the Friendship Centres.
- Develops provincial program resources and tools for Friendship Centres.
- Participates in the design and development of Indigenous-led, culture-based programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build effective working relationships with Friendship Centre staff, management, and Executive Directors.
- Delivers program orientation as required and ongoing support to Friendship Centre staff, ensuring that programs and activities are carried out in accordance with the goals, objectives, and standards of the program.
- Ensures program materials and resources are maintained to reflect provincial performance standards.
- Delivers orientation and user training on the OFIFC’s integrated database system to Friendship Centre program staff and other user groups as required.
- Provides program information, advice, and expertise to Friendship Centres .
- Conduct field visits to provide direct support to Friendship Centres and gather information.

Reporting and Analysis (50%):




- Analyzes Friendship Centre program data and produces written analysis.
- Identify Friendship Centre needs, gaps, priorities, and challenges, and effectively communicate information to other areas in OFIFC (e.g., Senior Program Advisors, Policy Advisors)
- Supports the development of measures, analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of OFIFC programs to demonstrate outcomes and impacts.
- Monitors and reviews program activity to ensure data quality assurance, effective budget management and reporting compliance.
- Prepares written reports, briefing materials, and presentations for internal and external audiences, including issue analysis, recommendations, and risk assessments.

Education/Work Experience:

- Diploma in Social Science, Community Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline. A relevant degree is an asset.
- Over 3, up to and including 5 years experience in program or project management. And/or minimum 1 year experience in data analysis.

- Knowledge of database systems.
- Proven ability in program design and development with strong knowledge of Indigenous culture-based programming.

- Hiring Range: $70,000 - $73,850
- Full Pay Range: $70,000 - $82,000
