The Program
Coordinator directly supports the Mother Tree project at UBC’s Faculty of Forestry. You'll manage scheduling, logistics for events, and communications materials, ensuring smooth operations across engagements. This role is fundamental as it enhances visibility and promotes sustainability within Indigenous forest stewardship initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling for Mother Tree engagements and meetings
- Plan logistics for events, including RSVPs and venue arrangements
- Draft correspondence and conduct background research
- Maintain communications materials and relationship records
- Respond to inquiries from stakeholders and the public Requirements:
- High School diploma and two years of experience
- Knowledge of Indigenous governance or ecology preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid organizational and communication skills
