What you will do

- Assist the project team with coordination and project support;
- Collaborate and keep the lines of communication open when working with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients;
- Take pride in your ability to effectively review, interpret and update the construction schedules;
- Utilize your passion for organization through maintenance, review and follow‑up of shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents;
- Effectively collect, review and analyze project quotes with emphasis on obtaining the very best prices in the market;
- Take pride in compiling and completing company wide project reports;
- Assemble, attend, document and emphasize the importance of project meetings;
- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the project. Effectively apply the requirements of the project specific safety standards to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E; standards, applicable OH&S; acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on the project
- Embrace the learning experience and be open to internal career opportunities;
- Celebrate project success and completion and be a key member of the project wrap‑up process.

This role could be for you if you have

- 0-3 years’ experience in the building construction industry;
- A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience;
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and exert strong organizational skills;
- Solid written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong computer skills with enthusiasm for innovation;

Security Clearance Requirement

Please note that this position requires candidates to be eligible to obtain and maintain a Level II (Secret) Security Clearance.
