Shape the future of patient care as a Coordinator of Site Operations for the Vancouver Island Health Authority. This essential role is primarily focused on driving patient safety and managing operational efficiency after hours.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will handle clinical operations outside of regular hours, coordinating patient care, staffing, and resource allocation effectively. Your insights will guide staff in solving patient care issues and comply with established procedures and quality standards. You will also be responsible for linking site operations with both internal and external healthcare partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage after-hours clinical and administrative operations
• Develop contingency plans for patient staffing and care




• Assess and ensure productive service delivery
• Guide multidisciplinary teams in patient flow solutions
• Supervise staff and monitor compliance with policies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Nursing; Master’s preferred
• Registration with BC College of Nurses
• Five years nursing experience, two in supervisory roles
• Proven leadership in healthcare settings
• Valid BC Driver's License necessary
