Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 base salary plus commission on completed projects

First General Services (Sudbury) Inc. is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our team full-time. This permanent position is based out of our Sudbury office and offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, meaningful industry.

With over 25 years of trusted service, we’re a locally owned and operated company backed by a strong national network. We specialize in property restoration for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, helping clients recover from a wide range of damage including fire, water, wind, mould, vehicle impact, vandalism, and other unexpected losses. You’ll be supported by a team-oriented, knowledgeable team and play a key role in delivering exceptional service and results.

- Scope and estimate restoration projects using Xactimate and insurer standards
- Manage all aspects of assigned claims from emergency response through to completion
- Coordinate work with internal teams, insurance adjusters, homeowners, subcontractors, and engineers
- Meet or exceed First General and client KPIs, including customer satisfaction metrics
- Monitor timelines, budgets, quality, and compliance with Health & Safety regulations




- Prepare work and purchase orders and approve job-related costs
- Identify and communicate opportunities for improved service and operational efficiency
- Participate in local and national catastrophe response when required
- Collaborate with other Project Managers to resolve issues and share resources
- Support training and continuous improvement within the team

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 5 years of restoration experience (water, fire, mould, etc.)
- Detailed knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
- WHMIS certification and strong Health & Safety knowledge
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) – required
- Valid Class G driver’s license and clean criminal record – required
- Proficiency in Xactimate, XactAnalysis, Encircle, MS Outlook, and MS Word
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- A genuine passion for customer service and continuous improvement

Compensation & Benefits
