Our client is a family-owned property management company with long standing market presence. They own and operate their entire portfolio, with no third-party management, and take a hands-on, ownership-driven approach. They are growing their portfolio and expanding their team.

This is a hands-on Property Manager role supporting a growing portfolio. You’ll work closely with ownership and leadership, playing a key role in both day to day operations and tenant relationships across residential and commercial assets.

Responsibilities:

Property Operations:

- Oversee day to day operations across assigned properties
- Conduct regular site visits and property inspections
- Ensure buildings are maintained to a high standard
- Manage tenant requests, concerns, and escalations in a timely manner
- Work closely with building staff, contractors, and vendors
- Monitor operating budgets and control costs where applicable

Tenant & Stakeholder Management:

- Build and maintain strong tenant relationships
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants
- Coordinate communications and ensure high tenant satisfaction

Commercial Leasing Support:

- Assist with lease reviews and administration
- Support leasing activities and tenant onboarding




- Coordinate with brokers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in lease documentation

Qualifications:

- 3-7 years of property management experience (residential, commercial, or mixed portfolio)
- Strong knowledge of property operations and tenant management
- Experience conducting site visits and managing multiple properties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with solid attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Nice to Have:

- Commercial leasing exposure or experience
- Experience with mixed-use portfolios
- Familiarity with Yardi, Building Stack, or similar property management systems
- Knowledge of Ontario tenancy regulations (RTA) and basic understanding of commercial leasing practices
- Budgeting and financial reporting experience
- Experience working with local vendors and contractors in the GTA
