As a Pulsed Power Simulation & Modeling Engineer , you will apply your skills to creating models of, and simulating cutting-edge pulsed power electrical and mechanical systems. We are looking for our Pulsed Power Simulation & Modeling Engineer to apply their technical expertise, problem solving skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact the future of energy! Work with pulsed power design engineers to generate models of systems and components Work with a multidisciplinary team to create, optimize and validate models of complex physical processes and phenomena.

Aid in the design of experiments for validation of models against real-world data S.in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience: 2+ years of experience with field solver/particle-in-cell/circuit simulation codes S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.Proficiency in solid-modeling software, e.g. SolidWorks or NX Strong knowledge of electromagnetic field principles Mechanical design skills –knowledge of GD&T; principles a plus Proficiency with Python and/or MATLAB.

Experience with VBA and Java a plus $Candidates may be considered for other positions at Xcimer Energy, and our actual base salary will be determined on an individual basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
