Responsibilities

Partner with the QNX Quality Manager to continually improve QMS and CSMS to meet ISO9001 and ISO/SAE21434 objectives.

Drive continuous improvement and champion a quality and safety culture.

Collaborate with product and development teams to balance safety, quality, cybersecurity and commercial requirements.

Conduct quality assurance process and work product audits for QNX software projects.

Conduct Functional Safety Audits and Confirmation Reviews for software safety projects.

Support internal and external ISO9001:2015 quality audits.

Contribute to quality and process responses to RFPs and customer questionnaires.

Support SW development teams throughout the product life-cycle model.

Collaborate with the Safety Manager to ensure the QMS supports functional safety certification activities for ISO26262, IEC61508 or other relevant standards.

Perform additional duties such as project management and coordination for non-product corporate initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Experience in the technology industry, particularly in software development environments focused on quality and project management.

Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.

Robust verbal, written,



project management and interpersonal communication skills with a customer-focus and service orientation.

Experience in Requirements Management, Configuration Management, software development process models, quality management systems, product life-cycle models, architecture, design and implementation.

Hands-on experience in software development (requirements, design, coding, testing).

Effective influencing skills.

Preferred / Specialized Skills

Implementing compliance for ISO9001 or similar quality management systems (mandatory).

Experience with ISO26262, IEC61508, ISO/SAE21434, SEICMMI, IEC62304, DO-178C, SPICE, ISO/IEC15504, Automotive SPICE.

SPICE/ISO9001 audit experience.

Knowledge of software quality management systems, quality control methodologies and tools.

Application and maintenance of product life-cycle models.

Process modelling experience, preferably functional safety ISO26262 in a process modelling tool.

ASPICE experience or provisional/competent assessor.

Compensation & Benefits

Scheduled weekly hours: 40 hours.

Base salary range: $96,000.00 – $135,000.00, subject to final offer.

Bonus: BlackBerry VIP program.
