The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an Equipment & Systems buyer (f/m) to join our procurement team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), working jointly with the Airbus procurement team based in Toulouse (France) and Hamburg (Germany).

Location

Mirabel, Québec, Canada (suburban Montreal). The position may require occasional travel within the US and Europe.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage the procurement portfolio and processes for systems including flight simulators within the Equipment & Systems procurement organization.
- Drive the definition and implementation of product and sourcing strategies.
- Coordinate and align cross‑functional stakeholders (engineering, program, finance, supply chain, etc.) and contribute to the multi‑functional team (MFT).
- Administer contracts, including monitoring contract implementation, ensuring contract conditions are applied, tracking performance in all dimensions (logistics, support, quality, cost) and performing follow‑up with suppliers.
- Update contracts throughout the life cycle of equipment and systems, including negotiating change requests or modifications (MOD/PCR).
- Develop and execute strategies to support cost reduction objectives for the scope.

Qualifications

- Procurement experience is essential; business or technical experience and knowledge of the procurement process are welcomed.
- Experience working in a multi‑functional setting.
- Experience in stakeholder management and influencing internal customers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercial, contract and finance knowledge required.
- Negotiation level in English; other languages an asset.

Travel & Work Environment

Occasional business travel within the US and Europe may be required.
