At DART Aerospa ce, we design and manufacture mission-critical helicopter equipment trusted by operators in more than 120 countries. Every part delivered on time helps keep aircraft flying and operations running safely around the world.
We're looking for an experienced Materials & Procurement Specialist to play a key role in supporting our manufacturing operations. If you enjoy supplier negotiations, inventory optimization, production planning, and solving supply chain challenges, we'd like to hear from you.
What you'll do
- Procure raw materials, components, and indirect supplies to support production.
- Build and manage supplier relationships while negotiating pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.
- Review MRP recommendations and release purchase orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and resolve material shortages before they impact production.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Finance.
- Support engineering changes, new product introductions, and supply chain readiness.
- Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify cost savings and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate supplier, material, and inventory data within the ERP system.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of procurement, purchasing, materials management,
or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Plex preferred; SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Epicor, or similar).
- Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing workplace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical device, or another regulated manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of inventory control, production planning, and MRP principles.
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Power BI experience.

Location & Schedule
- Full-time, permanent
- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 1-2 days of travel per week to suppliers, manufacturing sites, or other DART Aerospace locations.
