At Amico, we’re looking for a dedicated technician to join our maintenance department. Your primary responsibility will be performing comprehensive maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy trucks and trailers. You will leverage your expertise in diesel engines and hydraulic systems while ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and documentation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and inspections of heavy vehicles
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engine and electrical issues
• Maintain detailed repair records for compliance
• Collaborate with the team to manage work orders
• Stay updated on maintenance technologies and methods
Requirements:
• 310T mechanic license from Ontario's Ministry of Transportation
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
• Expertise in mechanical diagnostics and repairs
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Proficiency with tools for vehicle maintenance
