As aWastewater Process Engineerin ourBurnaby office, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful water and wastewater infrastructure projects acrossWestern Canada. You’ll join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused on sustainable solutions that improve the quality of life in communities.As aWastewater Process Engineer, you will support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment projects. You’ll bring your strong process engineering expertise and project execution skills to help deliver high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective solutions.Key Responsibilities will include:Lead and support the process design of wastewater treatment facilities, including preliminary and detailed design phasesPerform process modelling, mass balances, and hydraulic calculations for treatment systemsDevelop technical reports, specifications, and design documentationParticipate in pilot testing, process optimization, and troubleshooting activitiesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineersSupport proposal development,



including technical approach and scope definitionProvide mentorship and guidance to intermediate and junior engineersSupport or lead project delivery for wastewater projects of moderate complexityDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverablesCoordinate with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients to ensure alignment on project objectivesMonitor project progress and proactively manage risks and changesContribute to client relationship management through effective communication and technical leadershipHere’s what you'll needBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering (Master’s degree considered an asset)10–12 years of relevant wastewater process engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in British Columbia or eligibility to obtainAbility to travel to local project sites (having a driver’s incense in British Columbia is considered an asset)Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processesExperience with process modelling tools (such as BioWin, GPS‑X or Sumo)Demonstrated experience supporting or contributing to project management activities, including coordination of multidisciplinary teams, schedule and budget tracking,



and client communicationAbility to support delivery of projects through various phases, with an understanding of scope, risk, and change management principlesStrong communication, stakeholder coordination, and technical writing skillsIdeally, You’ll Also Have:Experience working on municipal infrastructure projects in Western CanadaPrevious consulting engineering experienceProven ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business developmentFamiliarity with BC regulatory requirements and guidelinesThe base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $140,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery.
