Reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will support the estimating team to perform a variety of Estimating Functions to support the day‑to‑day operations.
Primary Scope of Role
- Taking quantity take‑offs.
- Contacting suppliers & sub‑trades for pricing.
- Working within Bid2Win estimating system.
- Completed civil engineering or civil engineering technician/technology program.
- Strong knowledge and use of computer software.
- Prior co‑op and/or practical experience in a heavy civil construction environment.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Results‑driven with an ability to deliver success in a fast‑paced environment.
- Outcome‑focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyse and visualise to ensure continuous improvement across our business.
- Ability to connect and interact with people to seek different perspectives.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.
What We Offer
- Compensation: $53,000 – $65,000 per year, with the actual base salary dependent on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
