Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

- Buildingstrongrelationshipswithmid-seniorskilledITjobseekersinCanada
- Sourcing,screeningandpresentingtopqualifiedcandidates




- Postingadsandactivelysearchingfortalentinourin-housedatabaseandonseveralonlineresumesbanks
- Conductingahighvolumeofphonescreensandvirtualinterviews
- Attendingin-personandvirtualcareerfairs,networkingeventsandcontractorappreciationsocials
- Providingconsultativeadvicetocandidatesonhiringprocesses,compensation,termination,andotherHRtopics
- Updatingcandidatefileswithagoaltolocateandplaceavailablecandidates,generateleads,andcontributetocandidate-marketingactivities
- Completingreferencechecksandverifyingcredentialsasrequired
- Anticipatinghiringneedsbyproactivelybuildingapipelineofcandidateswithhigh-demandskillsets,ensuringacontinuousandefficientrecruitmentprocess
- Takingtheinitiativetoidentifyandgenerateleadsthroughvariouschannels,includingprofessionalnetworks,candidateinterviews/screencalls,socialmedia,andindustryevents
- Monitoringandanalyzingcompetitorrecruitmentstrategies,identifyingbestpracticesandareasforimprovement
- Demonstratingasolutions-orientedmindsetwhenfacedwithrecruitmentchallenges,offeringcreativeandeffectivesolutions

Skills and Qualifications

- 3+ years of IT recruitment experience required; preferably within an agency setting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with bilingualism in French considered a strong asset
- Focused on driving client/candidate success and delivering the ultimate experience
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly




- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced setting, meeting tight deadlines
- Natural curiosity about people, their backgrounds and experience
- Passion for creating and fostering new relationships
- You are a driven professional who is self-motivated for achieving and exceeding individual and team goals
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of and experience with recruiting practices, candidate process management, behavioural interviewing skills and assessment techniques preferred
- Technical aptitude in the use of business software and Microsoft Office Suite
- College or University education considered a strong asset
- Ability to work onsite in downtown Toronto office a minimum of 1-2 days/week for the initial 6 months
