Contribute to patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse at the 2C Regional Stroke Unit. This temporary full-time role requires expertise in Cardiovascular Nursing and a commitment to excellence in patient care. In this position at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, you will join a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional care to complex patient populations.
Your responsibility will include managing nursing interventions and evaluating patient responses in line with professional standards and the hospital’s values. A strong background in Cardiovascular Nursing is essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality care to complex stroke patients
- Utilize the Nursing Process for individualized care
- Manage multiple nursing interventions effectively
- Conduct assessments using Canadian Neurologic Stroke Scale
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse registration in Ontario
- BCLS certification and recent nursing experience
- Knowledge in managing complex patient populations
- Robust interprofessional communication skills
- Preferred certification in Cardiovascular Nursing Deliver exceptional nursing care with compassion and accountability at the Regional Stroke Unit.
