As The Successful Applicant, You Will Do The Following

- Provide direct patient care within the RPN scope of practice.

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as part of the healthcare team.

- Deliver supportive, preventive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative care.

- Promote patient health, safety, and well-being.

- Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.

- Being able to navigate hyperacute - high volume shifts.

- Work independently and as part of the fast-paced ED team.

Required

What You’ll Bring

- Current Registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario

- BLS, ACLS, Physical Assessment course

- One-year recent experience in acute care nursing

Preferred

- Current emergency nursing experience

- Coronary Care Level 1

- Meditech Expanse
