Contribute to diagnostic excellence as a Registered Technologist at Brightshores in Owen Sound. You'll utilize your skills in sample collection and test analysis to support patient treatment and care. This part-time position requires a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science and certification from CSMLS.
You'll be responsible for conducting a variety of diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and ensuring high standards of patient care in the laboratory. Being part of a team-oriented team, you will also support quality assurance initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic tests on patient samples thoroughly
- Analyze results and prepare comprehensive reports
- Ensure quality patient care through effective planning
- Engage in quality improvement projects within the lab
- Support interdepartmental collaboration for optimal patient outcomes Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science
- Current CMLTO registration and CSMLS Certification
- Proficient in phlebotomy and lab software systems
- Willingness to work all shifts and weekends
