As a Cloud Developer at Verily you will help us develop our cloud platform capabilities and tools to deliver scalable, reliable, secure, and performant production systems.
You will work with software developers, hardware developers, data scientists & security to help them learn, adapt, and adopt our core cloud management tools and best practices. You will also help develop documentation and training material and evangelize these technologies and capabilities to the broader engineering organization. As a Cloud Developer, you will advocate the infrastructure decisions within the broader engineering organization.
Follow cloud architecture standards, policies, and guidelines to maintain consistency and reliability across teams and ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g., Automate cloud operations strategy to ensure scalability, performance, security, and disaster recovery. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 2+ years of experience in public cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS, with the ability to leverage these platforms effectively for large-scale operations. ~1+ years of experience with programming & scripting languages like Go,
Python, Shell, etc; and experience in implementing scalable, reliable and secure cloud network solutions for a variety of workloads. ~Write technical & design documentation. The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is CAD 120,500-136,000 + bonus + equity + perks.
