Title: Associate, Term Funding & Capital Management

Term Funding & Capital Management (TFCM) is a core Group Treasury function responsible for managing the Bank's funding plan, wholesale funding and capital programs, recovery and resolution planning, and regulatory initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Funding Program Management, this role supports strategic funding activities through financial analysis, reporting, governance, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Support wholesale funding, capital planning, and funding program management activities.
- Contribute to recovery, resolution, stress testing, crisis management, and contingency planning initiatives.
- Perform quantitative analysis related to funding capacity, liquidity impacts, and stress scenarios.
- Prepare executive presentations, briefing materials, governance reporting, and strategic recommendations.
- Support investor reporting, regulatory disclosures, and quarterly funding and capital reviews.
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring the Bank's wholesale funding and capital plans.
- Support Labelled Bond, ABS, and other funding programs through analysis, reporting, and program oversight.
- Participate in funding transactions, including market monitoring, pricing analysis, and stakeholder coordination.
- Develop and enhance reporting, dashboards, analytics, and process automation solutions.
- Partner with Treasury, Finance, Risk,
Legal, Investor Relations, and external stakeholders to support key initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and disclosure requirements.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement and strategic project support.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward a professional designation is an asset.
- Experience in Treasury, Capital Markets, Risk Management, Securities Law, or Financial Services.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, MATLAB, or other analytical tools is an asset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial transactions and documentation.
