Position Summary The Biologics Speciality Sales Representative (Dermatology Territory Manager) will effectively promote Galderma's prescription dermatology biologic, requiring advanced scientific, operational, business and interpersonal skills. The Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for achieving/exceeding Galderma portfolio sales goals and meeting strategic objectives across high‑valued customers within assigned customer segments (including but not limited to Dermatologists and Allergists). This is a 12‑month contract, field sales position covering Southwest Ontario (Oakville, Hamilton, Niagara, London, Guelph, Windsor and Muskoka) with a base salary range of 115,000–130,000CAD plus bonus and allowances. Essential Functions Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and strategic marketing objectives to meet or exceed business objectives. Acquire and maintain expertise in brand/segment strategy and tactics and provide expert product knowledge. Promote and generate demand for prescription products in a competitive market, including launching recent products. Plan and execute effective sales calls and activities on targeted HCPs (dermatologists and allergists). Organize and carry out Continuing Health Education programs for physicians. Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external key stakeholders; proactively utilize business analytics and customer insights to anticipate customer needs and support solution development. Ensure that customer concerns and inquiries are handled in accordance with company standards by adhering to internal procedures and collaborating with stakeholders such as quality, pharmacovigilance,
customer service, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs. Leverage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to educate HCPs in the territory. Execute customer engagement initiatives to strengthen strategic partnerships with customers. Accurately analyze data on a monthly basis and develop strategic business plans to enhance long‑term sales performance. Produce reports and analyses to evaluate territory performance and identify opportunities. Represent Galderma by attending trade shows, conventions, and other meetings. Deliver a variety of administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Demonstrate honesty and integrity, and model behaviors consistent with Galderma’s Four Commitments, company standards, and policies. Collaborate across business units to execute integrated dermatology strategies that align with organizational objectives and leverage synergies. Demonstrate agility and adaptability in learning new technologies and business processes. Perform other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support departmental and organizational objectives. Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 8+ years of proven sales experience in a quota‑driven role, with preference for experience in dermatology or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
3–5 years of experience in biologics (mandatory). Demonstrated strong track record of consistent documented success (e.G., sales performance, leadership, increased responsibilities). Advanced clinical knowledge: in‑depth understanding of the complex immunological pathways targeted by biologics; ability to discuss disease mechanisms and how biologics modify them. Evidence‑based medicine: proficiency in interpreting clinical trial data, including endpoints specific to biologics and presenting compelling evidence on the safety and efficacy of Nemolizumab to HCPs. Deep understanding of dermatology clinic engagement, especially regarding patient support programs (PSP). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/qualification; master’s degree preferred. Proficiency with MS Office in a Windows environment and familiarity with sales tracking and reporting software (Veeva CRM, PowerBI). Advanced selling competencies: skill to engage in discussions on complex immunological mechanisms and address queries. Resilience and adaptability to handle potential challenges and rejections, as biologics may face more barriers. High sense of urgency with regard to customer service orientation and follow‑up. Strong business acumen and ability to understand market opportunities. Knowledge of the business and market in the assigned territory is preferred. Ability to thrive in a highly driven, performance‑based, fast‑paced, and results‑oriented culture. Commitment to maintaining a high degree of integrity and ethics at all times.
