In this role you will be accountable for advising the Chief Risk Officer on key priorities of the sectors, planning, governance and supporting the sector on many cross‑sector activities.What You Will DoServe as a trusted advisor to the Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice‑President,



providing strategic guidance on aligning sector priorities and adapting plans to address emerging challenges.Partner with leaders across the Sector to drive integration and alignment of plans and priorities, maximizing synergies and enabling cohesive execution.Contribute strategic insights and recommendations to the CRO leadership team on cross‑sector initiatives, helping to shape organizational change and foster an evolving, high‑performing culture.Establish and embed best practices, frameworks, and governance processes that enable effective horizontal ways of working and enhance operational efficiency.Lead the development of an integrated sector strategy and prioritization framework, ensuring alignment with leadership objectives and enterprise direction.Oversee the design and implementation of a comprehensive sector planning framework that integrates strategy, performance measurement, and program delivery.Ensure risk management principles and practices are effectively embedded within planning, prioritization, and governance processes.Provide strategic input into sector planning cycles and work plans, ensuring alignment with broader organizational priorities.Act as a key integrator and communicator, enabling coordination and collaboration across business lines within the Sector.Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen collaboration, and drive value across the Sector.What You Should HaveAn Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration,



Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar.A Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience in an Advisor role.Advanced expertise in project management principles and methodologies, including Agile practices and contemporary organizational models (e.G., holacracy).Advanced expertise in change management frameworks and practices, with a proven ability to lead and sustain transformation in large, complex, enterprise‑scale organizations.Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, influence, and negotiate effectively with C‑suite executives, government stakeholders, and client organizations.Solid ability to synthesize complex information from diverse sources, identify key insights, and connect perspectives across stakeholders with differing priorities and objectives.Demonstrated leadership capability to build and inspire high‑performing teams, fostering an inclusive and engaging environment where individuals are empowered to take ownership, deliver results, and achieve priorities within the Sector’s risk appetite.Posting closing dateNote, the competition will remain active until filled.Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionWe’re committed to employment equity and encourage women, Indigenous Peoples, persons with disabilities, veterans and persons of all races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities and expressions to apply.
