Join the First Nations Health Authority as a Regional Mental Health and Wellness Liaison. Support First Nations communities in accessing critical mental health services while promoting culturally safe practices.
Based in Northern B.C., this role requires strong relationship-building and communication skills. You will engage with individuals and families, ensuring they navigate mental health and substance use services seamlessly. Collaboration with community partners and other health authorities will be key to your success in enhancing service delivery across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individuals and families in navigating mental health services
• Provide written documentation and care planning support




• Foster connections with community health partners
• Advocate for trauma-informed, culturally safe care
• Track outcomes and share insights for service improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
• 5-7 years of relevant mental health experience
• Experience with First Nations health programs
• Solid communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to navigate complex systems
