Corporate Vice President – Accounts Payable OptimizationPrime Healthcare Management – Ontario, CAPay Range:$180,000.00/yr – $225,000.00/yrOverviewPrime Healthcare is an award‑winning health system headquartered in Ontario, California. The company is actively seeking new leaders to join its corporate team.ResponsibilitiesThe Corporate Vice President of Accounts Payable (AP) Optimization will provide specialized expertise to implement software and processes that automate tasks in the accounts payable process, improving efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings.The position will strategically define the use of technology to automate invoice processing, matching invoices with purchase orders and receipts, and payment processing, with the goal of reducing manual data entry, minimizing errors, and streamlining workflows for faster processing times and improved financial visibility.This role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to ensure AP practices align with enterprise goals and regulatory requirements.Qualifications – RequiredBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline, or 10 years of progressive experience in accounts payable workflows and automation technology, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.Expertise in process assessment, including evaluation of AP processes, identification of bottlenecks,
and recommendation of improvement areas.Background evaluating related technologies and enhancing AP automation software and tools.Experience leading the implementation and integration of AP automation software, ensuring a smooth transition.Leadership to define and ensure proper training for AP staff on software tools, policies and processes.Strong communication and coaching skills to train AP staff on software tools, policies and processes.Strategic planning and leadership skills to develop and execute a 3‑year plan for continuous innovation and motivate team members to achieve milestones.Strong project management and change management skills related to system implementations.Experience working across functions, business segments for a large company with overseas support.Ability to analyze and improve complex processes using data‑driven insights.Experience presenting to executives and addressing concerns about process changes.Demonstrated success in leading AP automation projects, including system selection, implementation and optimization.Experience with ERP systems (e.G., Lawson, Oracle, Workday, SAP) and AP automation tools (e.G., Coupa, Basware, Tipalti, Kofax, AvidXchange).Qualifications – PreferredCPA, MBA, or relevant professional certification (e.G., APM, CAPA) preferred.Prior experience in a health system, integrated delivery network (IDN),
