Responsibilities

- Assembles aircraft engines and sub‑assemblies according to assembly floor sheets (AFS), ensuring proper use and care of equipment, tools, and safe working practices.
- Maintains product quality and integrity at all times; signs applicable assembly floor sheets when operations are complete.
- Executes engine pre‑dress, test, and post‑dress according to AFS.
- Documents build, test or strip activities to ensure smooth workflow and coordination between shifts.
- Checks that tools, equipment and parts are clean, FOD and damage free before and after use.
- Ensures proper care and storage of tools, equipment and parts during assembly, test and disassembly of engines.
- Assists in troubleshooting during assembly, test or disassembly, performing tasks such as cleaning hardware.
- Contributes to FOD prevention, continuous improvement and EHS cultures.
- Takes shift work as required (two weeks days, two weeks afternoons on rotation; alternate shifts may be required at times).

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 20 months of technical college in aircraft trades (minimum 2 years of experience in the aircraft field preferred).
- Awareness of EH&S; and continuous improvement (asset).
- Detail‑ and result‑oriented, valuable capacity for teamwork.




- High degree of mechanical aptitude and ability to problem‑solve effectively.
- Display drive and initiative.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
