Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You’ll Get To Do:Ensure full compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and standardsOversee accurate and timely environmental reporting, monitoring, and recordkeepingAct as primary liaison with regulators, consultants, and the community on environmental mattersManage environmental budget, consultants, and plant compliance programsInvestigate and resolve environmental compliance issues, complaints, and risksLead training, permitting efforts, and continuous improvement of environmental policies and regulatory knowledgeWho we are looking for:Bachelor’s degree in environmental, scientific, or engineering discipline5+ years of environmental experience in an industrial settingStrong knowledge of federal, provincial, and local environmental regulationsAbility to develop, implement, and manage environmental compliance programs and strategiesProven ability to audit operations, identify compliance issues, and communicate findings to managementExperience preparing permits, reports,
