Job DescriptionSenior Mine Waste Engineer position within our growing Mine Waste team in the Greater Toronto Area. Your expertise will help shape complex, high‑impact mining projects across Canada, working through the full lifecycle of tailings and mine waste facilities—from early‑stage studies through design, construction, operations, and closure—while supporting sustainable and responsible mining practices.OpportunityStep into a pivotal role where you will contribute to the full lifecycle of tailings and mine waste facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, productive, and compliant designs.Your ImpactLead the design, assessment, and optimization of tailings storage facilities (TSFs) and mine waste systems across all project phasesApply advanced geotechnical engineering principles to evaluate slope stability, seepage, drainage, and long‑term performanceDeliver high‑quality engineering analyses, reports, drawings, and technical specifications that support safe and efficient designsSupport Engineer of Record (EOR) mandates, dam safety reviews, and risk assessmentsManage or contribute to project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, and quality controlBuild and maintain strong client relationships while supporting proposals and technical approachesOversee or participate in site investigations, construction quality assurance (CQA), and field monitoring programsMentor and guide junior and intermediate engineers, strengthening team capability and knowledge sharingSkills That Set You ApartBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering8–12+ years of experience in mine waste,
