In this position, you will address the clinical needs of older adults through evidence-based practice. The Geriatric Nurse Clinician is responsible for enhancing patient outcomes and providing educational support to both staff and families. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical leadership in geriatric assessments
• Educate staff on best practices and care strategies
• Collaborate on individualized care plans for patients
• Assess and meet educational needs of nursing staff
• Participate in quality and risk management activities
Requirements:
• Must be a Registered Nurse with BCCNM
• Three years in acute gerontological nursing
• At least one year in education or leadership roles
• Possess a valid BC Driver's License
• Exceptional organizational and collaborative skills
