Riversdale Saskatoon Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Front Store Cashier / Sales Associate to join our team.

As the first point of contact for many customers, you will help create a welcoming and efficient pharmacy experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, stays organized in a busy workplace, and takes pride in keeping a store clean, well-stocked, and inviting.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers warmly and provide helpful, respectful service
- Operate the cash register and accurately process cash, debit, credit, and other payments
- Assist customers with locating front-store products and answering basic product questions
- Restock shelves, rotate products where required, and keep displays neat, faced, and organized
- Receive, check, and organize incoming inventory and orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the front store, including routine end-of-day cleaning
- Open and close the till according to store procedures
- Answer and direct phone calls appropriately
- Monitor the front store and proactively assist customers as needed
- Support pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and other team members with appropriate non-dispensing tasks
- Follow store policies, including customer privacy, confidentiality, safety, and loss-prevention procedures

Qualifications:

- Previous retail, cashier, or customer-service experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate
- Friendly, professional, and patient approach to customer service
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, and phone systems
- Accurate cash-handling and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks




- Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 lb and complete regular standing, stocking, and cleaning duties
- Previous pharmacy or health-care retail experience is an asset, but not required
