Project Control Officer – Senior Client: Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement | Onsite – Toronto, ON, Canada We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Control Officer to support enterprise-level projects for the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement . The successful candidate will provide project coordination, governance support, reporting, risk tracking, documentation management, and operational assistance to Project Managers and leadership teams.

This role requires strong expertise in project controls, status reporting, project documentation, risk and issue management, project scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and Agile/Waterfall delivery environments . The ideal candidate will have experience supporting complex programs involving mainframe/legacy systems and public sector initiatives .

Position Summary The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement is seeking a Senior Project Control Officer to provide comprehensive project coordination and control support across critical enterprise initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to monitor project execution, maintain reporting frameworks, track risks and issues, manage documentation repositories, and support successful delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Controls Management (40%)

Support Project Managers and project teams in planning, coordinating, communicating, and executing project activities.

Manage project work plans, schedules, tracking activities, and project analytics.

Maintain project dashboards, executive summaries, and management reporting.

Track project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.

Support project governance processes and delivery reporting.

Project Reporting & Documentation Management (25%)

Develop and maintain project status reports and reporting logs.

Gather updates from various project teams and stakeholders.





Maintain project documentation repositories and ensure documents are current and properly managed.

Coordinate preparation of executive‑level project updates.

Monitor documentation deliverables and ensure completion within timelines.

Risk, Issue & Workflow Management (20%)

Support risk and issue identification, tracking, escalation, and resolution.

Manage workflow processes related to tickets, action items, and project controls.

Assist Project Managers with identifying potential project impacts.

Maintain risk registers and issue tracking documentation.

Support decision‑making through accurate project information and analysis.

Stakeholder Coordination & Meeting Support (15%)

Schedule and coordinate project meetings.

Facilitate meetings and capture action items.

Collaborate with business teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

Provide updates and elevate concerns when required.

Build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
