The company operates 8 production facilities across Quebec and Ontario and employs more than 250 people throughout its various sites. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle® Architectural.

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated, bilingual Sales Representative at our Metcalfe (Ottawa) branch to grow and support our customer base across the Maritimes (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador). Our branch is located at 6860 Bank Street, Metcalfe (Ottawa) K0A 2P0.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, dealers, distributors, and customers throughout the Maritimes;
- Promote and sell Oldcastle / Permacon products to existing and prospective clients;
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in the region;
- Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations;
- Attend weekend home shows and industry events as a company representative;
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer updates using computer-based tools and CRM systems;
- Travel throughout the Maritimes, including overnight stays away from home as required;
- Participate in training sessions in Quebec and Ontario.

Qualifications And Job Requirements

- Bilingual in both English and French (required);
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (required);




- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience preferred, ideally in manufacturing, construction, building materials, or a related industry;
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or sales reporting tools;
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills;
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently;
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Maritimes, including overnight travel and weekend home shows;

Job Compensation/Benefits

- The annual salary is 60 000 $ to 80 000 $, negotiable based on experience;
