This is an embedded HR role where relationship-building, sound judgment, and execution all matter.You’ll partner closely with leadership to drive engagement, performance, and workforce effectiveness; while ensuring compliance and strong labor relations.Key ResponsibilitiesLabor Relations & Union Partnership: Provide hands-on HR support in a unionized environment, including grievance management, proactive labor relations,



and support during collective bargaining using data-driven insights.Employee Experience & Engagement: Lead and support initiatives that enhance employee engagement, morale, and workplace culture.Leadership Advisory:Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders on HR best practices, employee relations, and people decisions.Workforce Planning & Performance: Support leaders with workforce planning, performance management, and career development strategies.HR Metrics & Insights:Analyze HR data to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement.Policy & Compliance:Ensure HR practices and policies align with employment legislation, collective agreements, and organizational values.What You Bring5-7 years in an HR Generalist, HRBP, or similar roleExperience supporting unionized environments and collective bargaining processesAbility to advise and partner with leaders at all levelsPractical, solution-oriented mindsetThrives in a fast-paced environment with competing prioritiesBachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related fieldCHRP or CHRL preferredExcel for reporting and trackingPowerPoint for creating and delivering presentationsComfort working with HR metrics and dataExperience with salary administration, job evaluation, and market benchmarkingNice to HaveAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data visualization)Background in a service or client focused industryExperience supporting organizational change or HR transformation initiatives
