Supervise, train, and maintain standards as a Sample Preparation Floor Supervisor at ALS. This role focuses on ensuring client instructions are accurately followed and sample prep processes run smoothly. As the Sample Preparation Lead Hand, you will guide your team in performing sample preparations and uphold quality assurance standards.

Your role involves training technicians and resolving any issues that arise during shifts. A detail-oriented approach and mechanical aptitude will be vital for this energetic position. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations on the Sample Preparation floor
- Ensure compliance with accuracy in client instructions
- Assist in staff training and performance evaluation
- Conduct quality checks and handle special prep procedures
- Support mechanical maintenance as required Requirements:
- Degree in mineral sciences, geology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in sample preparation
- Valid forklift certification and First Aid training
- Proficiency in laboratory computer systems
